MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE:
Sailing from Round Bay near the head of the Severn River to Spa Creek alone in the sprit-rigged schooner dory “Pride of Glen Burnie”. It was one of those perfect days in October when the sky is blue, the leaves are turning and the temperature cannot be improved upon. With a light breeze from astern, I sailed wing and wing while reclining under the tiller and watching the land slip by as if in a dream.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING SAILING:
Meeting new people and helping them discover some of the pleasures to be had from sailing.
