Only J World Annapolis may cancel a lesson for weather-related reasons. They include conditions that are deemed unsafe or un-sailable. Examples include the presence of lightning in the area, sustained winds over 18 knots, or a complete lack of wind.
Weather cancellations are determined on a day-by-day basis. Students should report to J World each day of their class prepared to sail. If part of a course is cancelled due to weather, students are invited to return at a later date to complete the course, and/or sail the number of days lost.

If you conduct yourself so as to endanger the vessel or any person or property on board, or behave in a disorderly manner or in a manner to which other students may reasonably object, we reserve the right to take such measures to prevent continuation of such conduct, including your removal from the vessel. In such an instance, no refunds will be issued and J World Annapolis will not reimburse, or in any way be held responsible for any costs incurred for travel or any other expenses. You agree to abide by the orders of the coach in command of the school vessel at all times.
