This is an ideal course for skippers new to racing, or crewmembers looking to increase their all-around knowledge about strategy and tactics on the race course.

 

New to the game of sailboat racing?  Trying to grasp the intricacies of racing strategy and tactics can be frustrating to say the least.  For years we have helped our racing students become solid competitors all over the world.

This winter we are offering our renowned racing course lectures in a comprehensive  classroom format.   Over the course of three, bi-weekly evening sessions, we’ll cover what to do during key points in a race including starting, upwind and downwind.

Our curriculum will cover the racing rules for each situation, strategy and tactics, mark roundings, and more.  Finish the series with a much clearer picture of what’s going on in the skippers mind while racing and greatly increased confidence in your practical knowledge.  This is an ideal course for the novice and experienced skippers alike as well as crew members looking increase their all-around knowledge.

February 6th – STARTING

February 20th – UPWIND

March 5th  – DOWNWIND & FINISHING
