US Sailing Bareboat Certification & IPC
The US Sailing Basic Keelboat and US Sailing Basic Cruising certification are prerequisites to earn a Bareboat Cruising Certification. Once completed, you qualify for an International Proficiency Certificate (IPC) – an internationally recognized level of competence, and required for chartering in the Mediterranean, European Union and elsewhere. Sailors without the prerequisites, but with comparable sailing experience are still welcome to enroll in the course. You should have the ability to confidently sail a boat on your own with a complete understanding of fundamental sailing theory.
There needs to be a minimum of 2 students enrolled in this course to confirm the course dates.
