Sail Trim and Balance Seminar
This season JWorld will be offering our innovative and engaging winter Sail Trim and Balance Seminar!
Unlock the mystery of how and why sailboats work. This course will help you understand everything from powering up in light air to depowering when it gets heavy, causes of weather helm and how to balance the boat, effects of all trim adjustments from vang and jib leads to mast bend and traveler. We also will talk about spinnaker handling, broaching and recovery plus much more. Finish this class with all the knowledge and theory to make you an expert. Our most popular seminar!

Who should take this class?
Anyone interested in sailing in sailing smarter, safer, faster and more comfortably. If you believe that “twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do” then cast off your bowlines and join us for this winter seminar.

What will I learn?
How and why sails work. How sailboat interact with wind and water. The purpose of every sail control. Simply put you’ll learn what you want, when you want it and how to achieve it.
Everyone receives a J World certification of completion.
